Privacy Policy

Integrated Pelvic Care Inc. ("IPC", "we", "us", or "our") operates My Flow Check (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

The short version: your diary stays on your device and is never sent to us. We do count anonymous usage events so we can improve the app. They carry nothing you log, no identifier is stored on your device, and you can switch them off in Section 5.

1. Information We Collect

We collect no personal data and no diary data.

My Flow Check is designed with a privacy-first approach. The App runs entirely on your device (phone, tablet, or computer) and does not require:

• An account, username, or password
• An email address, phone number, or name
• Any sign-up or registration
• An internet connection to function

The one thing we do receive is anonymous statistics about how the App is used. Section 5 explains exactly what that means and how to switch it off.

2. How Your Data Is Stored

All data you enter into the App, including fluid intake, bathroom visits, bedtimes, wake times, and any notes, is stored exclusively in your device's local storage (browser storage). This means:

• No servers. Your diary is never uploaded to any server, cloud service, or database operated by IPC or any third party.
• No transmission. Your diary never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it (see Section 4).
• No remote access. IPC employees, contractors, or affiliates cannot access, view, or retrieve your data at any time.
• Device-only. If you clear your browser data or uninstall the App, your data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered by us.

Alongside your diary, the App keeps a few small settings on your device: your language, whether you have already seen the privacy notice, and whether you have switched usage statistics off. None of them identify you, and none of them are sent anywhere.

3. Health Information

The App allows you to record information related to your bladder and fluid intake patterns. This information may be considered health-related data. We want to be clear:

• We never collect, process, store, or have access to your health information.
• Your health data remains solely on your device under your control.
• We do not sell, share, license, or disclose your diary or health information to anyone. The anonymous usage events described in Section 5 are handled only by the two providers named there, and are never sold, never used for advertising, and never combined with anything you log.

4. Data Export & Sharing

The App provides an optional export feature that allows you to download your diary data as a PDF or CSV file. When you use this feature:

• The file is generated entirely on your device.
• The file is saved to your device's local downloads folder.
• Only you decide whether, when, and with whom to share the exported file (for example, with your health professional).
• IPC has no knowledge of whether you export your data or who you share it with.
• Patient reference. Export files include a random code (patient_ref) generated on your device. It contains no personal information and is not based on your identity or device, so it cannot identify you on its own. Its only purpose is to help your clinician confirm that diaries shared over time came from the same person and to catch any mix-ups between patients. IPC never receives this code; it exists only inside the files you choose to share.

5. Usage Statistics (Analytics)

To see which parts of the App people use and where they get stuck, we record a small number of named events, for example "started a diary", "opened Day 2", or "downloaded a PDF". Two services process them for us:

• Vercel Web Analytics (Vercel Inc., United States) records page views and those named events. Visitors are told apart by a hash that is valid for one day only. No cookie is used.
• PostHog (PostHog Inc.), which stores the data on servers in the European Union, records the same events. No identifier of any kind is stored on your device, so separate visits cannot be linked together.

What we send

• The page you are on, without anything that follows the "?" in the address
• Event names such as "pee logged" or "PDF exported"
• The diary day number (1, 2, or 3)
• Your language and the app version
• A wide age band, such as 40-49
• Your device and browser type, and your country (worked out from your IP address, which is then discarded)

What we never send

• Volumes, the times of your bathroom visits or leaks, bedtimes, wake times, your exact age, your timezone, or any note or free text
• Clinic codes, the patient reference code from Section 4, or anything else that could identify you

None of this uses cookies. There is no cross-site tracking, no advertising network, no session recording, and no fingerprinting.

How long it is kept: Vercel keeps its statistics for the period set by our plan, and PostHog keeps events for the retention period set on our project. Because no identifier is stored, there is nothing in either service that could be traced back to you.

Switching usage statistics off

Use the switch below at any time. It applies to this device and browser and takes effect immediately. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, usage statistics are already off and the switch stays locked.

Apart from your diary and the small settings listed in Section 2, the App stores nothing in your browser. It sets no cookies, and nothing it stores can be read by any other website.

6. Notifications

If you grant notification permission, the App may send you local reminders to help you remember to log your entries. These notifications are:

• Generated entirely on your device
• Not sent through any external server or push notification service
• Optional. You can decline or revoke permission at any time through your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for adults and is designed to be used under the guidance of a health professional. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18, including the usage events described in Section 5. Setup asks for your age and will not start a diary below 18.

8. Third-Party Services & Hosting

The App is served by Vercel Inc. (United States). Like any web host, Vercel receives the IP address of each request in its short-lived server logs. The only third-party code in the App is the two analytics services named in Section 5, and neither of them receives your diary. The App may load fonts from Google Fonts for display purposes; no personal data is transmitted in this process.

9. Data Retention & Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• You control retention. Your data exists for as long as you keep it on your device.
• You control deletion. You can delete all data at any time by tapping "Start a New Tracking" in the App, clearing your browser data, or uninstalling the App.
• We never receive your diary, so we cannot keep it or delete it for you. The usage events in Section 5 carry no identifier, so they cannot be traced back to you or removed one by one. Switching them off stops any new ones being recorded.

10. Security

Because your data never leaves your device, the primary security responsibility rests with your device's own security measures (screen lock, device encryption, etc.). We recommend:

• Keeping your device's operating system and browser up to date
• Using a screen lock (PIN, fingerprint, or face recognition)
• Not sharing your device with others if you have private health data in the App

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Since we do not collect contact information, we cannot directly notify you of changes. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

12. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, including access, correction, deletion, portability, and the right to object. Because your diary never reaches us, those rights are already met for everything you log. The usage events in Section 5 carry no identifier, so we cannot link them to you, look them up, or delete them individually. The switch in Section 5 is how you object, and it takes effect immediately. Write to us at the address in Section 13 with any question.
